When the 1.4 was designed, it was designed with budget in mind, not performance or longevity. The ZZP Coil booster has been in the works for a long time. It has enabled us to run boost levels higher than others with large plug gaps on turbo engines, along with increased idle quality and higher fuel mileage. The ZZP coil pack is designed to work with the booster and therefore we are exclusively offering it to our coil pack customers. It's known that the OE packs do not last long and increasing their output would likely cause near immediate failure. It is for this reason that we are only offering the booster to those running the ZZP ignition coil, found here.

Installation is easy and straightforward. Unplug your stock coil pack harness, plug into the voltage booster, then plug the booster into your coil pack. Bracket has provisions to zip tie to any sensible mounting point. Fits 1st generation Chevrolet Volt and Cadillac ELR.
