The stock cable ends for the manual Sonic are designed for comfort and "easy" shifting for the general public, which means they're designed to be soft and complying. As enthusiasts we like direct, crisp shifts that provide feedback. Our ZZP bushing upgrades replace the stock soft rubber that can cause the "sloppy" feel when completing a shift.
These drop in with some modification of the stock cable end. You must remove the factory bushing, save the captured socket, and transfer over to the new aluminum bushing. Pair with our shifter base bushings and short throw shifter for the best Sonic shifting experience.
Sold individually. You will want to purchase a quantity of 2 to replace both cable ends.
Fits: 2012-2020 Chevrolet Sonic. Also fits Saab 9-3 with the 6 speed F40 gearbox. Some cables do not have a circular end and these will not fit.
