ZZP 1.4T Aluminum Thermostat Assembly

Upgrade your 1.4T's cooling system with the redesigned ZZPerformance aluminum thermostat housing and mechanical thermostat. The 1.4T engine is known for the cheap plastic cooling components GM used from the factory, which commonly crack, leak, and contribute to inconsistent cooling performance. Our upgraded thermostat housing eliminates those issues while improving reliability and temperature control.

This new version features an all-new aluminum casting designed to use a traditional, fully mechanical thermostat, eliminating the electronically heated thermostat found in the OEM design. By removing the heater element and electronic control, the system becomes simpler, more reliable, and fully serviceable.

The included 180° mechanical thermostat allows the engine to begin circulating coolant earlier than the factory unit, helping maintain cooler operating temperatures under performance driving conditions.

Constructed entirely from aluminum, this housing eliminates the cracking and failure commonly seen with the factory plastic components, providing a long-term cooling solution for your 1.4T.

Installs exactly like stock, requires no modification.
