This is our ZZPerformance Z04 upgraded turbo kit for the second generation Chevrolet Cruze with the direct injected 1.4L turbo engine. Our Z04 turbo kit uses the same wheel sizes and dimensions as our 1st gen 1.4L Z04 kit with a custom compressor housing and turbine housing to directly bolt onto your LE2 engine. With the overwhelming success of our 1st gen Z04 we knew we wanted to bring the same power potential and reliability to the 2nd gen market.
The Z04 turbo features a cast iron turbine housing, journal bearing center section, 9-blade turbine wheel for lowered back pressure, and cast aluminum compressor housing. Our Z04 turbo kit includes everything needed to bolt onto your Cruze. Our custom turbine housing is designed to function with your stock downpipe or our upgraded ZZP downpipe. The Z04 is capable of 40-100whp over the stock turbo depending on your supporting modifications. This turbo spools 500-800rpm later than a stock turbo.
Our ZZP Gen 2 Cruze cold air intake is required for installation. May work with other aftermarket intakes, but would require custom intake tube to turbo inlet connection.
Options: We have 2 ways for ordering the turbo. The first will be the "I have a ZZP intake" which will include the turbo, a new silicone for the intake, and the turbo install kit. The second is "Add ZZP intake" which includes all components for the ZZP cold air intake, turbo, and turbo install kit.
This is a new bolt on turbo, not core based, and comes with everything needed for installation. Does not fit 1st Gen port injected Chevy Cruze.
