Make the most of your twin turbo LF3/LF4 build with our ZZPerformance big flow throttle body. The LF3/LF4 platform responds aggressively to airflow improvements, but most “ported” throttle bodies are simply hand-blended, inconsistent, and cosmetically polished. Here at ZZPerformance we like to take a different approach.
We start with an OEM throttle body for reliability and electronics compatibility, then apply a series of operations on our CNC mill to the blade, shaft, and bore. The result is a repeatable, precise, data-verified airflow upgrade that drops into your factory manifold and delivers measurable gains in spool, throttle response, and peak airflow. We top it all off with our CNC machined bell mouth that is designed to accelerate air smoothly into the bore.
Dyno results vary by setup, but customers typically see ~10HP with gains increasing as supporting mods are added.
We designed a multi-facet machining process for the throttle shaft, front and back, that features:

There is no tuning required (but recommended for maximum gains), no throttle mapping issues, and no idle instability.
Every ZZP throttle body is fixtured and machined to identical spec. There is no hand work, no variation between units, and no guesswork. You get the same flow characteristics across every production batch.

Installation is simple and straightforward. Once you have the intercooler lid disconnected and out of the way, unplug and remove the factory throttle body. Install our ZZP BFTB using the provided hardware and snap the bell mouth securely on the top.
