ZZP studs are re-useable and will last the lifetime of your engine unlike the stock torque to yield bolts. These replace the main bearing cap bolts and the main bearing cap tie plate bolts, factory are TTY.

Block line honing is highly recommended after the install of main studs.
Torque specs to be used with included ZZP assembly lube:
- Hand thread studs into block. Hand tight.
- 35 ft/lbs via 2 passes on main studs
- 10 ft/lbs on outer perimeter bolts
- Follow OEM torque sequence
Install note: A thin walled socket is required for installation of the outer perimeter bolts.
Fits: 2012-2020 Chevrolet Sonic 1.4, 2011-2016.5 Chevrolet Cruze 1.4, 2013-2021 Chevrolet Trax 1.4, and 2013-2021 Buick Encore 1.4. Does not fit second generation direct injected Chevrolet Cruze.
