The Kappa platform (Solstice/Sky) has a common issue with overheating due to the hoses to the overflow tank. These are one way valves so when the coolant system cools down and creates a vacuum, they will not allow the overflow hoses to pull air from the overflow tank and put air into the system.
These are to be installed in the overflow tank return hoses to prevent air pockets.
