Our ZZPerformance 3.5" cold air intake for the supercharged Cobalt SS will help you unlock every last drop of power on your M62 blower build. Constructed from 304 stainless steel this intake will help reduce restriction before the blower while also increasing the amount of blower noise you hear under throttle.
Reducing inlet restriction is especially important on a positive displacement supercharger since the blower is always trying to move a fixed amount of air. When the inlet side becomes restricted the supercharger has to work harder to pull air through the intake, creating additional heat and reducing efficiency. Increasing airflow before the blower helps improve efficiency and overall performance potential, especially on smaller pullies, ported blowers, and TVS setups.
For maximum power gains we recommend the LS4 throttle body, found here. We include a separate coupler sleeve to fit stock LSJ throttle body setups. A PCM update or tune is needed for this product. Our 3" cold air intake is all that is needed for most builds, which can be found here.
The 3.5" intake comes in two different finish options. Raw is uncoated 304 stainless steel; you can choose to powdercoat it your own color or rock it as is. Wrinkle Black is powdercoated as such.
Due to the diameter of the intake installation will be slightly more difficult, but installs exactly the same as our 3" intake. This intake uses our AF-7 filter if you need a replacement, found here.
Fits: 2005-2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2.0L Supercharged, does not fit Saturn Ion Redline.
