KR – Graph1: Normal Knock Sensor Signal at Idle
The graph below (Graph 1) shows the knock sensor voltage level of my car at idle. Essentially, the signals are simple engine noises, but note the scaling on the Y axis. There are some peaks up near two volts, but the bulk of them are down near a volt or below. There is no actual knock in this particular signal. The X axis is scaled in units of time.
